Elmhurst Learning Center has been serving the Bay Area since 1975!

We offer a range of programs, from year-round day care — for children 24 months to 11 years of age — to complete Preschool, Transitional Kindergarten, and Kindergarten experiences from September 1st to June 30th. Transitional Kindergarten & Kindergarten feature complete Abeka curricula. Our Preschool and Pre-K education framework consists of the ABCJesusLovesMe curriculum at its core, supplemented by resources from Abeka, Scholastic, and HighScope.

Our program provides daily meals, including breakfast in the morning, family-style lunch in the evening, and a snack in the afternoon — each prepared on-site, absent of peanut or nut products. Our meal program operates in accordance with California child care licensing requirements and participates in CACFP, the USDA Child and Adult Care Food Program, administered by the California Department of Social Services.

Our teachers are academically qualified, CPR Certified, and First-Aid Certified. Our staff are caring, loving people, committed to having a positive impact on the lives, character, confidence, and spiritual growth of children. We strive to prepare all of our students academically, for the next level in their educational journey.

As a Christian program, we intertwine our core curricula with Bible stories, songs or Christ, and prayer throughout the day. We dedicate time every Wednesday, from 9:30am to 10:00am, for an age-appropriate group Chapel experience.
